That means there’s plenty of Carolina sunshine available for your solar array. To make the most of those sunny days, it’s crucial to keep your panels clean and free of obstructions. SC Solar’s maintenance team will remove debris like leaves or pine straw, clean off any dirt and pollen, and perform thorough system diagnostics. Living in a wooded suburban area like Waxhaw means pollen and dust accumulation can be an issue – that yellow-green film in spring isn’t just annoying, it can reduce your panels’ efficiency if not cleaned (pollen buildup has been shown to cause performance drops of up to 15% if left unattended). Fortunately, our regular cleanings ensure that rain alone isn’t your only defense; we’ll keep your panels sparkling so you get maximum energy output and savings.
